Just a Harmless Little Heist....

Nae jumped lightly back and to the side to avoid the kick. She didn't attempt an offensive at this time, only watched Lezvie like a hawk and tried to predict his next move.

Lezvie turned towards her, clearly about to launch a right hook.

Nae waited until he launched it before skipping to the side and aiming a side kick at his side, now unguarded due to his hook.

He grunted and went down to one knee, trying to strike out at her.

Nae bounded back out of reach, not trusting herself enough to press the attack.

[jsyk, she's good at pulling her strikes, so when she lands something, the most it'll probably do is sting or only partially knock the air out of her opponent, depending on where it landed. Technique and control are her strong points, so, yeah. Just thought I'd mention it. -chuckle-]

Lezvie leapt at her, swinging a kick at her. "You won't win anything if you keep holding back."

Nae dodged the kick. "I'm not holding back!"

"You're pulling your punches. Hit me. You don't want to be coddled, then don't take it easy on me, either."

Nae blinked. "Being controlled isn't holding back."

"You're not going to beat me with those little love-taps."

Nae frowned, still having no intention of hitting harder in the match.

Lezvie jabbed at her stomach.

Nae blocked and returned the attack with both a punch at his face, and a low kick at the same time.

Lezvie blocked the punch, grunting as her foot connected, then grabbed her arm and twisted it around.

Nae winced as he twisted. She snapped out another low kick and squirmed in an attempt to get away.

He sidestepped the kick, dropping down and pulling her with him, so he's on his knees with her in front of him, one arm behind her back.

Nae twisted in his grip, trying to pull her arm free.

He slipped his other arm around her waist, holding her tightly. "Gotcha."

Nae sighed, going limp as she tapped out.

He didn't release her right away. "So, dinner tonight. You like Italian?"

Nae nodded slightly. "Yeah, I like it pretty well."

"Then I'll make a reservation for two, at seven." He smiled and released her.

Nae rose, nodding. "Sounds good." Actually, it sounded weird, but saying that would be awkward. Plus, she needed to get used to it, she supposed. She pulled an arm behind her head to stretch it. It seemed he was going to be a part of the team now, and going to dinner with a teammate wasn't strange.

Lezvie smiled. "Think about what I've said. We'll continue later." He slipped out to shower.

Nae took a quarter of an hour for stretches before heading off to take a shower herself.
