Just a Harmless Little Heist....

Claire appeared again a moment later, two backpacks, one notably larger than the other, slung over her shoulder. Behind her is a smaller girl, about six-years-old, wearing her own backpack. Claire shifted her grip on her packs. "Is Kohl all right? What happened?"

"She got involved in the wrong scheme with the wrong crowd. I had to rough her up a little to convince her to turn, but we're all on the same side now. Come with me." He led them back to the base."

Claire gave him a suspicious look when he mentioned having to rough her up, but decides to leave it until she sees Kohl again and get the account from her.

Lezvie leads them to the base and into his room.

The moment they see Kohl, they bolt to her, asking a million questions. Kohl doesn't even try to answer all their questions and just hugs them tight, despite it hurting.

Lezvie checks up on the others using his bug on Nae.

They've just arrived at the house, and the girl is nowhere to be found.

Lezvie whirls on Kohl. "Where is the mob taking the girl and why? She's not at the address you gave."

Kohl tenses. "She isn't? I- I don't know."

[She's telling a half truth.]

Lezvie gives her a hard look. "I'm keeping the mob off your back, but if anything happens to that girl, you will regret the day you were born. Now talk!"

Kohl glances at at the girls. Flower shrinks behind her, peering at Lezvie, while Claire plants her hands on her hips and openly glares at him. "Don't you talk to her like--"

Kohl clapped a hand over her mouth and shushed her before facing Lezvie. "I don't know what they want with her, I swear."

[Truth]

"You know where. Or you can make an educated guess."

"They might have taken her to his place. I can try to draw a map showing the way there, but I've only been a few times, and the first time I was blindfolded."

"Lead me." His tone brooks no argument.

Kohl almost argues, but decides quickly that it'd be a bad idea, especially since the girls are there. She ruffles the girls' hair briefly, murmuring something in French to them, then nods to Lezvie. "All right."

[Lezvie speaks French.]

He leads her out of the room and onto the street.
