Just a Harmless Little Heist....

Sydney falls silent again, keeping an eye on the area. Alistair wakes slowly and puts an arm over her face, dearly wishing to be back in her own forest right then.

He softly nuzzles her.

Alistair tells herself to pull it together and sits up, putting a hand on Aliond's snout. Let's get you healed the rest of the way.

This should make it easier... He shifts to a human form, which makes his burns smaller, proportional to his smaller body.

Alistair blinked several times and finally just sat and stared at him, having not had any idea he could do that and now being completely shocked by the revelation. "You..."

Sydney started, thinking for a moment that perhaps the Red One had found them again. When she realizes it's Aliond she has much the same reaction as Alistair.

"Dragons can assume human form. We typically choose not to."

Alistair nodded, still not quite sure what to think about this, but shoving it away. "The burns," she murmured, pushing her sleeves up.

He nodded and laid back. The burns are much smaller and easier to treat now.

Alistair carefully treated them all, glad they're smaller as she still hasn't completely recovered.

Though she can't see him, she can feel that his skin is smooth under her fingers, his body firm and strong.

She notes this half consciously as she finishes and withdraws. "There."

He relaxes and murmurs. "And now I'm too weak to change back."

Alistair frowned a bit. "I could try to restore your energy." She paused, thinking. "I cannot do much, though. Not now." She sighed.

"Don't worry about me." He blinks softly. "Unless it would bother you, me being close to you as a human."

Alistair shakes her head. "You're still Aliond, either way." Though that's what she says, she's still not completely sure what she thinks of the matter.

He nods. "I don't have the same desire as human males."

Alistair turns her head toward him slightly. "I'm not worried about that. I simply..." she shrugged. "I don't get along with other humans."

"I see." He shrugged, then held her close. "I'm not human, so it should be alright."

Alistair stiffened at the contact, and had to remind herself he was Aliond, and not a human. It's all right. she told herself before returning the gesture, albeit a bit awkwardly.

Aliond slept with her.

Alistair found it more difficult to fall asleep with him in this form, but gradually dozed off all the same.

When she wakes, he's a dragon again.

When she did wake, she knew right away he'd changed back. All the same, she reached out a hand and ran it across his scales to make sure he was back to normal.

He rumbled softly, enjoying her touch.

She smiled a bit and sat up carefully, taking in her surroundings.
